Dublin Edition

‘Poems, chiefly in the Scottish Dialect’ by Robert Burns

Published by William Gilbert of Great George’s Street, Dublin in 1787.

William Gilbert had an agreement with James Magee of Belfast, who shipped printed sheet of the text to him. It was, therefore, a pirated copy, printed without payment to the author or legitimate publisher and contained no subscription list.

This copy is from The Moir Collection.
